Knows basics but doesn’t follow through around distractions
Solid skills but break in real life
Ready for calm, controlled behavior in public settings
Group training only works if your dog can handle the environment.
Good fit for group training:
• can be around dogs and people without escalating
• can stay on leash with guidance
• able to refocus when redirected
• handler is ready to participate and follow through
Not ready for group training:
• lunging, snapping, or biting
• intense reactivity toward dogs or people
• cannot be safely managed in a group setting
If your dog isn’t here yet, don’t force it.
Start where your dog is now — not where you want them to be.

You don’t need to guess.
