Terms of Service

By enrolling in any service, course, or program with K9 Life Training & Coaching / Coastal Canine Training Academy (“K9 Life”), you agree to the following terms:

All training is based on owner participation and follow-through.

Results depend on:
• consistency
• application of instruction
• the dog’s environment and history

K9 Life does not guarantee specific outcomes, as behavior is influenced by multiple factors outside of training sessions.

 By enrolling, you agree to:

• follow guidance provided during training
• handle your dog safely and responsibly
• disclose any history of aggression or behavioral concerns

Failure to disclose behavioral concerns (including biting or aggression) may result in termination of services without refund.

• Payment is required to secure any program or course
• Scheduling is completed after payment and intake
• Sessions and classes must be scheduled within the program timeframe

K9 Life reserves the right to adjust scheduling as needed.

In-Home Training:
• Minimum 24-hour notice required to reschedule
• Late cancellations may result in forfeited sessions

Group Courses:
• Missed classes are not refundable
• Reasonable support will be provided to help you stay on track

• 7+ days before program start: Full refund minus $50 administrative fee
• Less than 7 days: 50% refund
• After Session 1: Partial refund (minus completed session + $50 fee)
• After Session 2: No refunds

No refunds are issued for lack of participation or follow-through.

You are responsible for your dog’s behavior at all times.

By participating, you acknowledge:

• dogs may behave unpredictably
• interaction with other dogs and people carries inherent risk

K9 Life is not liable for injuries, damages, or incidents that occur during or after training.

Training tools and methods will be discussed and guided appropriately.

Clients are responsible for:
• proper use
• safe handling
• following instruction

K9 Life may use photos or videos of training sessions for educational or promotional purposes.

If you prefer not to be included, please notify in writing.
