Then you step outside.

There are people.
Other dogs.
New smells.
Things moving.

And suddenly, everything feels harder.

That doesn't mean your dog can't learn.

It means we need to build the foundation—and teach them how to use it while real life is happening around them.

Core Course is a four-week group training class where you and your dog build foundational obedience, communication, and beginning public manners...together, in the real world.

What We’ll Build Together

Core Course starts with the foundation—and teaches you and your dog how to use those skills with real life happening around you.

We'll work on:

• Engagement and communication
• Sit, Down, and Wait—with a clear release
• Walking together without the leash becoming a battle
• Staying connected around distractions
• Leave It
• Beginning Recall
• Working through everyday distractions without expecting perfection

But Core isn't just about what your dog learns.

You're learning too.

You'll learn how to give clearer direction, when and how to reward, when your dog needs help, and when to give them a second to think.

Because the clearer you are, the easier it is for your dog to understand what you're asking.

And that's when training starts becoming something you do together.

Your dog doesn't need to be perfect to join Core Course.

Honestly, that would make for a pretty boring class anyway.

They can get distracted.
They can pull.
They can lose focus.
They can get excited when another dog walks by.

That's part of why we're here.

Core Course is designed for dogs who can safely learn around other dogs and people—even if they still need help staying focused.

If your dog is lunging, snapping, or becoming so overwhelmed around dogs or people that they can't learn, a public group class isn't the best place to start.

That doesn't mean Core isn't in their future.

It just means we start somewhere else first.

This is one four-week progressive course, with each class building on the week before.

Bringing Two Dogs?

Dogs from the same household can attend together with a separate handler for each dog.

Second dog is 50% off — $300 total for both dogs.
