A three-week puppy foundation program designed to give your puppy a strong start before they come home to you.
Sometimes you want to be there for every first step.
And sometimes, you want someone else to help get those first steps started.
Started For You™ is for owners who want me to begin building their puppy's early training foundation before bringing them into the process.
I start the communication.
The routines.
The everyday skills.
The patterns your puppy will begin carrying into life with you.
Then I teach you how to keep building from what we started.
Because I'm not raising your puppy to live with me.
I'm helping prepare them for the life they're going home to live with you.
Starting With a Future Service Dog?
Started For You™ is also available for approved service dog prospects, but that training path is different from Puppy Foundations.
What We Start Building
Every puppy comes to me a little different.
Some are confident and ready to investigate everything.
Some need more time to feel comfortable.
And some arrive with a whole collection of interesting little habits already in progress.
So, I don't put every puppy through the exact same checklist.
I meet your puppy where they are and build from there.
That may include:
• Walking politely on leash instead of pulling
• Waiting instead of rushing through open doors
• Settling when nothing exciting is happening
• Greeting people without using their whole body as a weapon
• Building confidence with crate training and time alone
• Making better choices when they're excited
• Building routines that make everyday life easier to understand
But we're building more than individual behaviors.
Your puppy is also learning how to listen, recover, try again, and look to a person for direction when they're unsure.
Because the foundation isn't just what your puppy learns.
It's learning how to learn.
Three Weeks of Learning Your Puppy
Your puppy will be learning during these three weeks.
But so will I.
I'll be watching how they respond to new people, places, routines, and expectations.
What gives them confidence.
What frustrates them.
What motivates them.
What overwhelms them.
And what helps them learn best.
I'll also be paying attention to the patterns that start to show up—how they communicate, what they do when they're unsure, and how they recover when something is difficult.
Because when your puppy goes home, I don't just want to tell you what they learned.
I want to help you understand the puppy you're bringing home.
Throughout their stay, I'll document what I'm seeing, what we're building, and what you'll need to know when it's your turn to take over.
You Don’t Have to Wait Three Weeks to See Your Puppy
Your puppy may be living and learning with me, but they're still your puppy.
You're welcome to visit during their stay, spend some time with them, and see what we've been working on.
Visits just need to be scheduled around training, so your puppy's routine stays on track.
Because Started For You™ doesn't mean you hand me your puppy and disappear for three weeks.
You're still part of this.
Then the Leash Starts Changing Hands
Your puppy coming home isn't the end of the program.
It's the beginning of your part in it.
Before your puppy goes home, I'll walk you through what I've learned, what we've built, the routines they've been living, and where they still need your help.
Then it's your turn to take the leash.
You'll learn how I've been communicating with your puppy, what they've learned to expect, and how to continue the work at home.
Because your puppy isn't coming home to live my life.
They're coming home to live yours.
My job is to start the foundation.
Then I teach you how to keep building it.
What Comes Home With Your Puppy (Besides Training)
After three weeks, your puppy comes home with a foundation already started.
And you come home knowing how to keep building it.
Your Started For You™ Puppy Foundations Program includes:
• 21 days of living and learning with me
• Individualized puppy training
• Observations and documentation throughout their stay
• Scheduled visits during the three weeks, if you'd like them
• A 90–120 minute transfer session before your puppy comes home
• Four follow-up coaching sessions
• 30 days to use your follow-up sessions
• Continued guidance as you and your puppy settle into life together
Three weeks starts the foundation.
The support afterward helps you make it yours.
Is Started For You™ Right for Your Puppy?
Started For You™ Puppy Foundations is designed for puppies 3–7 months old who are ready to begin building the skills and habits they'll carry into life with you.
Before any stay is scheduled, I'll meet you and your puppy in person to make sure the program is the right fit.
Not every puppy needs the same starting point.
The evaluation helps us make sure this is the right one for yours.

Three weeks of professional puppy foundation training, followed by the coaching and support you need to continue the work at home.

Pay in Full
Payment plans available.
Before your puppy's stay can be scheduled, you'll complete an in-person puppy evaluation.
If your puppy is approved and you enroll within 7 days, your full evaluation fee will be credited toward your Started For You™ program investment.
